Launching a new brand for Topek

We're delighted to launch the new-look Topek brand and website. The outcome of a major rebranding exercise, the relaunch of our brand rests firmly on the foundations of visual, verbal and strategic workshops carried out to make sure that the end result represents the future of Topek while also embracing our rich heritage and beliefs.

Topek's new visual and verbal identity encapsulates our belief in our people. Under a new era of ownership, the visual identify represents our three owners who are the very core of Topek. Their commitment to investing in the skills of staff to deliver excellence is the cornerstone of the three pillars of Topek's beliefs - Technical Excellence, The Topek Family and The Topek Way.

This concept of three columns representing the people of Topek through our owners is used throughout the new visual identify. It can be seen in everything from our fleet of vehicles to our stationery and uniforms. To verbally communicate our commitment to our people, our new website includes staff profiles that go beyond the desk to talk about who they really are.

Finally, Topek was bored of repetitive jargon and meaningless titles. We work as a tight knit crew. A light-bulb moment for the rebrand came when a director, who will remain unnamed, watched the credits at the end of the film, Love Actually. Director, Producer, Graphic Artist, Casting, Rigging - he realised that these are our people. And so the concept of the production crew of Topek was born. It's not about him or her, it’s about us - the team that work together to create something wonderful.

Why now?

After over 30 years in business, the management team decided it was time to review and update our branding to reflect our core values, strengths and ambitions. Already known for our professionalism and the quality of our work, Topek's aim is to be the contractor of choice for clients and suppliers alike. With the commitment and hard work of everyone on our team, we are already making great progress towards our goal. But we also needed a new identity that reflected our ambitions. The launch of our new brand is further evidence of our commitment to our bold vision for the future.
